DDFileCatcher

DDFileCatcher is a pretty small software program which allows you to quickly and easily create file lists from the files contained on your disks.

Those lists may include about 340 file attributes, most of which are not even possible to see through the standard Windows Explorer means.

This tool works together with Windows Explorer, so you simply need to drag and drop the files to the DDFileCatcher window. Once they're there, you can export your file list in different ways and using different formats, including via the clipboard, a file text, a Microsoft Word or Excel file, an OpenOffice Writer or Calc file, or through an XML or HTML document, among others. The program counts on an indispensable tool called the "Preview Form", which allows you to see how the resulting output will look like before you actually export the list. It also has many configurable options, which help you to get exactly the lists you need. You are allowed to automatically scan entire drives, and select whether you would like to include subfolders or not. Besides that, this versatile tool is compatible with virtually all Microsoft Windows versions.
